The SIGETA StarWalk 80/720 AZ Achromatic Refractor is a versatile optical instrument with all the features you need to fully observe celestial bodies. This telescope allows you to see faint stars up to 11 magnitude, Saturn's rings, Uranus and Neptune as stars, the polar caps of Mars and many other objects.
First and foremost, the telescope's special colouring is worth noting which will fit in perfectly with any interior design. A further highlight is the ratio of the rather large objective lens diameter of 80mm to a focal length of 720mm which makes the telescope higher in light output and unique in its category. The quality of the optics is top-notch with the twin-lens glued lens illuminated with a green coloured coating and the 20mm (36x) and 6mm (120x) glasses illuminated with a blue coloured coating. The included Barlow lens will give you a 3x magnification and is also enlightened. The diagonal mirror gives a non-inverted, mirror-reflected image, allowing the telescope to be used for viewing terrestrial objects. A Red Dot viewfinder completes the list of included accessories.
An important advantage of the refractor-achromat on the azimuth mount is its quick installation. The optical tube is already attached to the mount, all you have to do is connect it to the three-leg mount. The azimuth mount allows you to move the tube vertically and horizontally. Under the tube, there is a height adjustment knob to help you control the position of the tube. The steel tripod is height adjustable and the tips are rubber coated.
This telescope is an indispensable aid for space exploration and will appeal to a wide variety of amateur astronomers.
