The SIGETA StarMAK 90 Alt-AZ is a mirror-lens telescope with sufficiently powerful optics for space exploration and a compact size that is very comfortable for transport and installation in rooms with limited space. This model will allow you to see lunar formations, the disc of Titan, Uranus, Neptune's moon, Pluto and numerous faint galaxies.
The Maksutov-Kassegren telescope has a sophisticated construction so that the image has no chromatic aberration. The StarMAK 90 kit comes with two quality eyepieces: the wide-angle Kelner 25mm (48x) and the stronger Plesla 10mm (120x), fully multi-coated lenses provide contrast and bright images. The diagonal mirror has an all-metal housing and gives a properly vertically aligned image. The supplied Red dot viewfinder has a 19mm non-magnifying lens with red dot projection so the telescope can be pointed to the desired object quickly and easily.
The telescope is fixed on an azimuthal mount, a type of mounting that is compact, intuitive to operate and infinitely variable in both azimuth and elevation. The steel tripod is height-adjustable from 0.65m to 1.20m and the tripod tips are rubber coated for excellent stability on all surfaces. The bubble level on the tripod allows the telescope to be placed level.
This telescope is a great option if you need a small and powerful telescope. It is simple and clear to operate, even for children, and its capabilities may surprise even adult astronomy enthusiasts.
