The SIGETA StarMAK 127 Alt-AZ is a high-tech and powerful mirror-lens telescope designed to demonstrate near and far space objects in high quality. Thanks to its large lens diameter of 127mm, it is capable of capturing more detail and its 1500mm focal length will give you a high magnification (maximum usable 254x). With this lens you can see the Moon and its craters in full detail, view interesting features of the planets in the solar system and enjoy the beauty of objects from outer space.

The optical tube is designed according to the Maksutov-Kassegren scheme resulting in compact tube dimensions at long focal lengths and avoiding chromatic aberration. The high quality 25mm Kelner and 10mm Plesla eyepieces give you a perfect image, with 60x and 150x magnification respectively. A diagonal mirror in a metal housing, which gives a properly oriented vertical image and allows the telescope to be used as a spotting scope, completes the set. A collimator-type viewfinder assists in guiding the telescope towards objects.

The telescope guidance system is a single-headed alto-azimuthal mount with mechanisms for continuously rotating the telescope in both elevation and azimuth. The mount is intuitive to operate, quick to install and lightweight. Mounted on a sturdy steel tripod with telescopic legs. The tripod has an integrated bubble level for accurate horizontal positioning, as well as adjustable leg tips.

For all the complexity of mirror-lens telescopes, this model is easy to use and anyone can learn to operate it. It is able to amaze you with its capabilities and give you the joy of exploring the invisible beauty of the universe.
