The SIGETA StarMAK 102 Alt-AZ - a catadioptric with high-quality optics, relatively small dimensions and a sufficiently large potential. This model is suitable for studying near- and far space objects and can also be used for ground-based observations. This telescope offers hundreds of the most interesting objects and a detailed view of the Moon, Jupiter and its satellites, Saturn and its rings and much more.

The lens-mirror configuration of the telescope tube gives a chromatism-free image and improves the viewing experience. A ratio of 102mm objective lens to 1300mm focal length makes this model a visual observation orientated model. The supplied quality multi-coated lenses give superb images with a magnification of 52x (25mm Kelner spectacles) and 130x (10x Plesla spectacles). The diagonal mirror allows for ground surveys thanks to its vertically aligned image. Finding and pointing the telescope is facilitated by the Red dot viewfinder with two brightness levels.

The Alt-azimuth mount allows the telescope to be moved smoothly in two axes: horizontally and vertically. This is done using special knobs placed on the mount. The aluminum tripod is height-adjustable and the feet are rubber coated. A level located on the tripod indicates how level the telescope is on the surface. An accessory tray for attachment of accessories to the tripod is also included.

The SIGETA StarMAK 102 telescope is a great option for your home observatory as well as for exciting out-of-town astronomy observation.
