The SIGETA SkyTouch 135 GoTo is a powerful Newtonian's construction mirror telescope with auto aim, high quality optics and reliable mechanics. Computer-aided management ensures rapid searching for any object among the more than 30,000 survivable ones, whilst the optics allow a thorough examination of the Moon's craters, Jupiter's satellites, Saturn's rings, and a multitude of asteroids and comets.
The 83 cm long tube is made of galvanised steel and finished in black textured paint. The principal quality spherical 135mm diameter mirror is polished by hand, with an aluminium frame and marking for precise and secure ajusting. Supplied with quality eyepieces: Kelner 25mm (36x) and Plesla 10mm (90x) as well as a 3x Barlow lens, Red dot finder and accessory shelf. Fully multi-coated eyepieces offer contrast-rich images and natural colour reproduction. The fully multi-coated Barlow lens allows three times magnification (36x - 108x and 90x - 270x) without any loss of sharpness. The Red dot eyefinder works as a laser pointer and features two brightness modes for bringing the telescope to bear on stars, planets and other objects.
The reflector is fixed to a semi fork azimuth mount with auto aim and tracking. The mounting is powered by 8 AA batteries or the optional 12V/500mA AC adapter and is managed by the SkyTouch controller. The telescope can be positioned using just one star (quick method), giving the user access to over 30,000 objects. You can pick and choose among various star catalogues, nebulae, galaxies and planets in the solar system. The autotracking lets you keep an eye on the objects and watch them for a long time. It is mounted on a steel tripod with an adjustable height of 0.65 m to 1.20 m and its rubber coated end pieces guarantee that the telescope will remain firmly fixed to any surface.
