#65319 – Telescope SIGETA Scorpius 70/900 EQ

Scorpius 70/900 EQ is an excellent telescope for the occasional astronomical observer. This optical instrument allows you to spend your time observing the movements of celestial bodies in comfort. The 70 mm diameter objective ensures high image quality and the equatorial mount with its fine-motion mechanism makes it easy to guide your gaze across the celestial sky.

The SIGETA Scorpius telescope optical system is a long-focus refractor ideal for exploring planetary disks. Scorpius can also be used for ground-based observations, thanks to its rotating lens which "straightens" the image. The unit is mounted on a sturdy, two-piece aluminium stand before setting up and preparing to work.

With the supplied glasses, the instrument reaches powers of 45x (with 20mm glasses), 72x (12.5mm) and 225x (4mm); the optional Barlow lens helps triple the magnification of the glasses.

The telescope is supplied in a bright gift box with a carrying handle.
