#65322 – Telescope SIGETA Polaris 76/900 EQ

Polaris 76/900 EQ is a versatile telescope (Newton reflector) for planetary observing and investigating deep sky objects. Its mirrored construction, long focus and German-style equatorial mount offer everything you need for substantial observing. With equal success, the telescope will also zoom in the larger planets such as Jupiter and Saturn with its rings, the well-known constellations and the nebulae.

In comparison to fork mounts, the EQ-mount allows a much higher level of observation: with its slow motion mechanism, it will smoothly follow objects while they move across the firmament. With an EQ-mount you can easily find an object in the night sky and hold it in your field of view for as long as you need.

The kit comes with a rich set of accessories: a 1.5x rotating lens, a 3x Barlow lens and three eyepieces magnifying objects by 45 times (20mm glasses), 72 times (12.5mm) and 225 times (4mm). The mounting diameter of each of the eyepieces is 0.96"; with the 0.96/1.25" adapter they are fitted into a 1.25" focuser. With the standard focuser diameter, it is feasible to expand the eyepiece set and purchase more professional optics over time.

The SIGETA Polaris telescope is installed on a robust aluminium tripod consisting of two sections. The complete set is shipped in a sturdy box featuring brightly coloured graphics.
