The Leonis 50/600 is a classic refractor telescope with an optical design consisting of quality glass lenses. The telescope's magnification depends on the focal length of the eyepiece used. The set comes with 6 mm and 20 mm eyepieces: dividing the focal length of the telescope (600) by the corresponding eyepiece parameter, we receive magnification of 100 and 30 times accordingly.

Due to the presence of the diagonal prism in the eyepiece, a properly vertically oriented image is visible, although the image constructed by the lens is inverted from bottom to top and from left to right. The prism corrects the image in one direction only: this fact must be taken into consideration when focusing on an object to the right, the telescope tube has to be moved to the left. The focusing process is intuitive: just look through the eyepiece and turn the focus wheel until the image is sharp.

The Sigeta Leonis lens telescope is the ideal aid for macrocosm observation, and the full-size tripod makes it possible to observe from a balcony as well as outdoors.
