Lensed telescope with an aperture of 70 mm and a focal distance of 700 mm. The telescope is installed on an azimuthal mount, the aluminium tripod is height-adjustable and has a convenient accessory shelf.

The telescope also features a 5x magnification optical viewfinder for fast and precise pointing towards an object. The 1.25" rail focuser allows access to any eyepiece with a similar fitting diameter.

With the mounted diagonal mirror, the scope gives a mirrored (inverted) image. But the rotating lens supplied in the kit enables a direct image to be obtained and the telescope can be used for ground-based observations.

The SIGETA Dorado refractor is aimed for first-time users. The model is very simple in its preparation, setting up and guidance, so it would make a great gift for a child. This telescope offers a great view of the Moon's surface, Saturn in rings, Jupiter's satellites, phases of Venus, big star nebulae and clusters.
