#65155 – Prepared slides SIGETA ADVANCE Mushrooms, lichens (20 pcs.)

The SIGETA ADVANCE series of micro preparations for MUSHROOMS, LICHENS is intended for advanced study of the relevant section of biology. The kit contains 20 prepared slides, 5 blank specimem and 5 cover glasses. Comes in a neat wooden box with latch. The prepared slides demonstrate the structure of different plant bodies, including mosses, algae, ferns and higher plants.

The prepared micro slides are immersed in non-water-soluble environment and are arranged on regular specimen glasses ( cover glasses are used). They also have a labelling with a consecutive number and a name in Latin.

The slices are as thin as possible, one cell layer and have all the taxonomic characters. The slides are painted with stable dyes not damaging the structure of the object, but, conversely, emphasising it. On each slide, the subject is placed exactly in the centre of the slide.

Set of microslides is packed in a wooden box with slots for slides. Preservation period of slides is not limited, micro slides are cleaned from impurities, have clear contours and are appropriate for use with school microscopes and magnifiers.
