#65152 – Prepared slides SIGETA ADVANCE Botany (20 pcs.)

The SIGETA ADVANCE BOTANICA slide kit is meant for illustrative study of the school curriculum featuring 20 prepared slides, 5 blank specimen and 5 cover glasses. The prepared slides demonstrate the structure of various plant bodies, including mosses, seaweeds, ferns and higher plants.

The prepared micro slides are immersed in water insoluble medium and placed on standard slides (using coverslips). They are also equipped with a label with a serial number and a name in Latin.

The sections are made as thin as possible, in a one cell layer , and have all the taxonomic features. The slides are painted with stable dyes not damaging the structure of the object but, conversely, underlining it. Each slide shows the object of study exactly in the centre of the specimen glass.

Set of microslides is packed in a wooden box with slots for slides. Preservation period of slides is not limited, micro slides are cleaned from impurities, have clear contours and are appropriate for use with school microscopes and magnifiers.
