SIGETA Plan Achromatic 100x/1.25 is an immersion objective for professional biological microscopes. Level of aberration correction - plan ahromat, numerical aperture 1.25 N.A., optical scheme designed for a 160mm tube length.

It is designed for use with standard cover glasses of 0.17mm thickness. If the glass height is higher, even the spring mechanism of the objective lens barrel will not protect the slide during focusing.
