The SIGETA Achromatic 100x/1.25 is a high-resolution immersion lens. The numerical aperture equals 1.25 N.A. and the level of aberration correction is achromat. The optical scheme of the objective is intended for a finite tube length - 160 mm.

Attention: the high magnification slides are manufactured exclusively with a cover glass of standard thickness (h=0.17mm). If the glass height is bigger, even the spring mechanism of the lens barrel will not protect the slide from damage during focusing.
