The microscope involves the study of objects in reflected or transmitted light. For this there are 2 LED illuminators with very smooth brightness control for each of them. The lower lamp is mounted under the top of the slide, and the upper one is attached to the frame. Focusing is carried out by vertical movement of the frame on the tripod and a two-way focusing mechanism. The smoothness of the mechanism can be adjusted by turning the right drum while the left one is fixed.

The optical scheme of the microscope is based on a couple of lenses of variable multiplicity, mounted at an angle of 15° relative to each other. The model has a smooth magnification adjustment in the range from 7 to 180 times. The maximum magnification is achieved with a 2x objective and 20x eyepieces that come with a pair of rubber eyecups. The main eyepiece objectives are equipped with individual diopter adjustment, and the distance between them can be easily controlled by zooming in/out.
