The SIGETA MS-217 LED 20x-Bino 40x Stereo is a professionally equipped stereo microscope for the examination of the 3D structure of tiny items in transmitted and reflected light. It has two zoom modes (20x and 40x), designated for use in manufacturing and repair shops, craft shops and antique outlets.
This model is characterized by high level of resolution and creates a clear and high contrast image of the object. The focusing mechanism enables you to focus not only on the surface, but also on the entire depth of the relief.
The revolving nosepiece of the microscope has two pairs of lenses, arranged at a certain angle to each other. The operating magnification is chosen by rotating the nosepiece. The 2x and 4x lenses are mounted at different heights, so the operating distance (from the objective table to the external lens frame) will be the same at any zoom: by carefully adjusting the sharpness at 2x you will be able to work at 4x without any other adjustments.
Stereomicroscope SIGETA MS-217 is equipped with two kinds of LED backlighting and is powered from 220 V mains. The upper and lower illumination units consist of several LED lamps, providing a more robust system and a more homogeneous distribution of light over the objective table surface.
A vertical, round cross-section tripod, round which the microscope optical head is rotating, is mounted in the base of the instrument: at the same time the objectives move to the right/left above the objective platform.
The objective table top can be served by one of two large-diameter (95 mm) discs: the first, made of translucent matte glass; the second, double-sided, made of plastic. The white and black sides of the plastic plate are used to enhance the contrast when examining dark and light specimens, correspondingly. In addition, the microscope can be equipped with a darkfield condenser.
The SIGETA MS-217 20x-40x kit features convenient soft rubber eye-pieces. The distance between the eyepieces can be regulated within a broad scope, based on the observer's interpipillary distance. Due to this even a prolonged work with the microscope does not cause excessive pressure on the laboratory assistant's visual apparatus.
