The multifunctional children's microscope with a set of prepared slides and auxiliary instruments. It does not require a power supply and runs on regular AA batteries. Based on the objective lens (4x, 10x, 40x) and the chosen magnification of the eyepiece (10x/16x), the magnification power of the microscope is 400x to 640x.

One of the most essential elements in the kit of this model, young explorers believe to be a smartphone adaptor. Not only is it possible to examine magnified microobjects on the display, but also making digital photos and videos using the front or main camera of the gadget. The only requirement in which the adapter will firmly hold the smartphone is a flat, smooth surface around the "eye" of the camera.

No need to screw or unscrew the objectives or remove the oculars in order to change the operating magnification of the SIGETA Mixi 40x-640x microscope. Likewise as with adult laboratory microscopes, a rotating revolving nosepiece is responsible for setting the objective in the correct position. The ocular magnification is simply changed by rotating the rim with embossed surface. All settings, including focus, are performed with a few simple movements, almost instantaneously.

Besides the optics, the kit includes 5 ready-to-examine slides and many instruments for specimen preparation and keeping, color mixing, etc. Under the adult guidance, the child easily masters the basics of working with the microscope and forges self-learning skills needed for the rest of school life
