#65255 – Microscope SIGETA MB-505 40x-1600x LED Trino Plan-Achromatic

MB-505 40x-1600x LED Trino Plan-Achromatic - light laboratory microscope for professional research of biological samples in transmitted light. Equipped with a 4-place nosepiece with 4 plan chromatic lenses: its optical system has corrected field curvature and chromatic aberration, partially spherical aberration and coma.

The eyepiece head of the SIGETA MB-505 biological microscope rotates freely to the right and left; the observation tubes are mounted at an angle of 30°. Two pairs of 10x and 16x wide-field WF eyepieces are supplied with the kit. Vertical tube - the 3rd optical input port - is used to connect a digital camera and to display magnified images to a PC monitor.

Focusing of this model is accomplished by coaxial coarse and fine adjustment screws with 2 micron graduations on the partition. The 12 x 12 cm sliding stage is equipped with a coaxially operated mechanical preparator along its horizontal axes.

Specimens are illuminated during examination by a 3 W S-LED from underneath: this is equivalent to a 40 W halogen bulb in terms of light intensity. The most important element of the MB-505's illumination system is the 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm: it allows adjustment of image brightness, contrast and sharpness.
