#65252 – Microscope SIGETA MB-502 40x-1600x LED Bino Plan-Achromatic

The MB-502 40x-1600x LED Bino Plan-Achromatic binocular microscope is a professionally designed research grade tool. Fitted with a 4-position nosepiece, all 4 lenses in the kit have a plan-achromatic correction degree. Chromatic aberration and field curvature are fully corrected in the optical system of the lenses and partially corrected for comatic and spherical aberration.

Two pairs of WideField (10x and 16x) eyepieces are provided. The microscope eyepiece head can be rotated 360° in both directions. The axes of the eyepiece tubes are tilted from the horizontal plane by 30° and the distance between them can be adjusted within the range of 55-75 mm. Due to the structure of the binocular head, the microscope does not need to be refocused after changing the interaxial distance.

The focusing assembly comprises coaxial coarse and fine focus screws with a graduation value of 0.001 mm. The 12x12 cm dual mechanical slide is equipped with right-handed coaxial calipers.

The microscope illumination system includes a 1.25 N.A. Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm ensuring optimal contrast and specimen illumination. For illumination of the specimen platform, a 3 W S-LED lamp - 40 W halogen analogue - is used.
