MB-305 40x-1600x LED Trino - trinocular microscope designed for the examination of biological preparations in transmitted light and connection of a camera for image fixation and processing. The set includes 4 achromatic objectives (4x to 100x) and 2 pairs of wide-field 10x,16x eyepieces: the unit has 8 magnification modes from 40x to 1600x respectively. The operating lens can be chosen by turning the nosepiece both clockwise and in the other direction.
Trinocular microscopes, thanks to their digital camera connection, are recommended as a device for educational and scientific institutions. Their use considerably increases the visibility of teaching and the productivity of research work.
With the binocular attachment the SIGETA MB-305 microscope is able to fulfill the routine tasks of clinical and diagnostic centres. The eyepiece tube angle in this model is 30°: convenient for long periods of sitting observation. In order to compensate the difference in visual acuity between the lab technician's left and right eye, one of the observation tubes has a diopter adjustment ring.
Coarse/fine focus adjusters are coaxially located on both sides of the housing; rotating any one of them moves the slide platform up or down. The total vertical range of movement is 2cm. During studies at maximum magnification, manual alignment of the specimen on the optical axis is extremely difficult: micrometric calipers are provided for this function.
The MB-305 biological microscope features LEDs for backlighting samples: A 1 W LED lamp is fitted inside the manifold housing. The illumination brightness can be adjusted by turning a wheel protruding above the base side.
The N.A. 1.25 condenser is intended for lightfield microscopy. The centering of the condenser in relation to the optical axis is achieved by special screws, and the distance between the front lens and the objective table is also adjustable. Zero value is set when working with an immersion objective, maximum (1.5 cm) when observing with a small magnification in a wide field eyepiece. In the last case it is also advisable using matte color filter. Other color filters are useful for correcting and enhancing the contrast of painted specimens. Additionally, a green filter can be used for reducing spherical aberration.
