SIGETA MB-235 40x-1000x LED Bino is a biological microscope designed for educational use and laboratory work in biology, ecology, physics, and chemistry in school classrooms, secondary and higher educational institutions, and can also serve as a basic laboratory microscope.
The ergonomic binocular head is positioned at a 45° angle and rotates freely 360°, ensuring convenience during observation and allowing image demonstration to others. Interpupillary distance adjustment in the 54-75 mm range helps adapt the instrument to individual user characteristics.
The microscope is equipped with high-quality optics that provide sharp and detailed images. The kit includes achromatic objectives 4x, 10x, 40x, 100x and a pair of wide-field 10x eyepieces. The 100x objective is designed for use with immersion oil. Lens surfaces have anti-reflective coating. The magnification range from 40x to 1000x is sufficient for studying cellular structure of plants and animals, microorganisms, tissue structure, and other biological specimens.
The microscope features dual LED illumination with smooth brightness control. Bottom illumination is used for examining thin, transparent specimens in transmitted light, while top illumination is for opaque objects in reflected light. The brightness control is located on the side of the base and allows adjustment of illumination intensity according to working conditions. Two power options are provided: mains power or AA batteries. This versatility makes the microscope convenient for various situations — both stationary use and work with limited access to power outlets.
The bilateral focusing mechanism consists of coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs. Coarse focusing allows quick focus adjustment on the object, while fine focusing helps achieve maximum sharpness on small details, which is especially important at high magnification. The stage is equipped with a high-quality mechanical stage — a special mechanism that provides smooth specimen movement in the horizontal plane. The presence of micrometric slides guarantees high precision movement without jerks or shifts. The stage has a scratch-resistant matte coating. This ensures the surface maintains a neat appearance even with intensive use.
The base and stand of the microscope are made of reliable aluminum alloy, while mechanism parts are made of steel and brass. This construction ensures stability, precision, and durability of the instrument. The structure is resistant to impacts and vibrations, allowing active use of the microscope, including frequent relocation. For convenient transportation, the body is equipped with an ergonomic handle that facilitates carrying the instrument.
