SIGETA MB-204 40x-1600x LED Bino — a biological binocular microscope with achromatic optics designed for laboratory research in transmitted light. It is suitable for training as well as for practical applications: examination of biological fluids, plant and animal tissue samples, study of histological preparations and cytological samples, basic bacteriological and microbiological tests.
An important feature of this model is the fact that it runs from a 220 V mains supply or from three AA batteries (1400 mAh each). Another great advantage of this microscope is its well thought out ergonomics allowing you to work uninterruptedly for long periods of time.
At the heart of the microscope is a one-piece, very strong metal housing. The binocular head is equipped with four 10x and 16x coated eyepieces and can rotate 360 degrees. For comfortable viewing conditions, the eyepiece tube is positioned at 30° angle in relation to the horizontal plane. The revolver-type attachment has four lenses with multi-layer anti-fungal coating for 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x. Each lens has a clear fixation and the head can be rotated comfortably even with just one finger.
The focus on the specimen is achieved by moving the stage in the vertical plane. The coaxial focus unit features macro, micro screws and a slide coupling. The positioning of the unit is very comfortable and requires virtually no getting used to: you can operate intuitively. The slide is equipped with micrometric screws, a coordinate nonius, and a slide clamp. The specimen can be examined over the entire specimen area.
The SIGETA MB-204 40x-1600x LED Bino microscope has a 1W bottom LED illuminator in cool colour temperature with continuously adjustable brightness. The NA 1.25 height-adjustable condenser with spherical aperture provides precise control of the transmitted light beam, achieving maximum contrast and brightness when viewed through the eyepiece. The optical system of the collector is free of spherical aberration and projects the light source into the condenser aperture plane.
