SIGETA COREON 40x-1280x LED Mono is a high-quality monocular biological microscope with extensive capabilities. Excellent for education: suitable for middle and high school students, college students, teachers and instructors of biology and ecology courses. Also ideal for independent research and hobby use, particularly for viewing biological specimens, coins, stamps, and other small objects.
The monocular head is positioned at a 45° angle, ensuring comfortable observation and reducing eye fatigue even during extended use. The kit includes wide-field eyepieces 10x and 16x, as well as achromatic objectives 4x, 10x, and 40x, providing magnification range from 40x to 640x. With additional use of the retractable Barlow lens, maximum magnification can be smoothly increased up to 1280x. High-quality optics guarantee bright, sharp, and high-contrast images.
The microscope features upper and lower LED illumination with smooth brightness control. Bottom illumination is used for studying transparent specimens in transmitted light, while top illumination is for opaque objects in reflected light. A disc diaphragm with six apertures of different diameters is located under the stage, allowing adjustment of the light beam size from the bottom illumination. LED lighting operates from both mains power and standard AA batteries, making the instrument suitable for "field" conditions. The charging system consists of a power adapter and separate cable, which also serves for connecting the microscope to a power bank or other external power source.
Specimens are placed on the stage equipped with spring-loaded metal clips for secure fixation of research objects. Focus adjustment is simple and intuitive: the bilateral coarse focusing mechanism provides smooth height adjustment of the stage. To prevent specimen damage, the design includes a stop screw that limits the stage lifting height.
