SIGETA BIOGENIC 40x-2000x LED Trino Infinity - biological laboratory microscope with a Siedentopf binocular attachment and an additional optical channel for the camera. The optical length of this model is infinity. This system uses a telecentric beam pattern allowing complete optical components to be incorporated into the front of the observation tube or individual components to be modified without disturbing the system or introducing additional aberrations.

The model is intended for medical and veterinary laboratory diagnostics, pathomorphological research, serious scientific experiments and capturing the results on photo and video. The SIGETA BIOGENIC microscope is equipped with 4 plan chromatic objectives corrected to infinity and 3 pairs of extra-wide-field glasses (220, 240 and 256 spectral numbers). The magnification range of the instrument is 40 to 2000x.

The microscope eyepiece head rotates freely in both directions, the distance between the axes of the eyepiece tubes is adjustable within the range 48-75 mm. The binocular head tubes have a standard 30° inclination for professional microscopes, the most suitable for long-term sitting viewing. A pair of 10x eyepieces in the kit is characterised by an increased exit pupil distance and allows dioptre correction. The lenses of all three pairs of eyepieces are coated for "" brightening "" the optical glass in the visible part of the spectrum.

Due to the enlarged diameter of the field aperture and high degree of correction of the lenses, SIGETA BIOGENIC 40x-2000x provides a wide field of view in the microscope. The optical system of the device generates equally sharp images without chromatic aberrations - both when observing through eyepieces and when transmitting through the 3rd optical channel. ( The camera is of appropriate quality when attached to the microscope).

The BIOGENIC trinocular microscope is ideal for photography. The photo adapter installed in a separate port allows adjustment of the length (+0...15 mm) so that the camera can focus independently after obtaining a clear image with the eyepieces.

With the BIOGENIC, image sharpness is achieved by moving the slide platform. The focusing assembly is comprised of three coaxial fine and coarse adjustment knobs and a macro slider ring.

The objective table, equipped with micrometric calipers, has a scratch- and smudge-resistant matt graphite coating. Two slides can be placed between the sample displacer grips and moved in parallel to compare the specimens under study at the chosen magnification. With a stage dimensions of 21.5x15cm, the range of slide movement along the horizontal axes is 0-7.5cm (left to right) and 0-5.5cm (inwards). The micrometer screws fixed on one shaft have a smooth action and can be easily operated without any distraction from the observation.

The SIGETA BIOGENIC 40x-2000x Biological Microscope illumination system is adjusted by the Kähler method. The large numerical aperture condenser with iris diaphragm enables centring and height fixation. The top lens of the condenser can be removed if necessary: this can be useful when working with extra-wide-field glasses at low magnification. The condenser is marked on the side surface with a scale matching the lens magnification and aperture opening.

Backlighting of the specimens with transmitted light is realised by a 3V LED (with a dimmer): the brightness of the lamp changes smoothly in the range 0-100%. The manifold and field aperture are integrated in an overlay at the base of the housing; the aperture diameter is controlled by rotating the aperture frame ring.
