SIGETA BIOGENIC 40x-2000x LED Bino Infinity - is a biological laboratory microscope designed for professional research in various fields of science (medicine, veterinary medicine) as well as for laboratory diagnostics in various industries. It is the perfect microscope for studying cells, bacteria, plants, and water samples. SIGETA BIOGENIC 40x-2000x LED Bino Infinity has a lot of advantages among models of this class: adjustable attachment of Siedentopf type, optical tube length infinity, Kähler method of illumination, centering condenser and LED illumination. The microscope comes equipped with 4 plano chromatic objectives with infinity correction and 3 pairs of wide-angle eyepieces ( eyepieces numbers 208, 220 and 240).
The microscope can be adjusted to the individual parameters for a comfortable work with the microscope. The required distance between eyepieces (48 to 75 mm) can easily be adjusted with the precise Siedentopf mechanism. The 10x eyepieces are fitted with dioptre correction rings (+5/-5) which compensate for eye differences in vision power. The eyepiece tubes are angled at 30° allowing extended duration examinations without neck strain. The binocular head can also be rotated 360° for easy viewing.
The microscope is equipped with high quality optics: the plan chromatic objective lens with infinity correction removes chromatic aberration within the entire field of view, forming a flat and sharp image with precise colour reproduction. The 4-lens nosepiece (4x, 10x, 40x(s), 100x(s)) provides instant access to the different magnification levels, enabling easy focusing on the smallest elements within the 40x to 2000x magnification range. The objective lenses are oriented inwards providing more space for access and exchange of micro preparations. The 40x and 100x lenses are spring-loaded reducing the risk of damaging the specimen or lens if the stage is raised too high. All standard lenses are coated for improved light transmission.
The infinity-corrected optics allow auxiliary elements (fluorescent illuminators, polarizers, etc.) to be built in front of the tube lens without shifting the focus or introducing additional distortion.
The sharpening is adjusted with the coarse and fine focus screws by moving the slide stage. The coaxial focus screw is supplemented by a macro slider ring.
The mechanical objective table measuring 216 x 150 mm enables smooth and precise movement of the slides. The specimen platform is fitted with a slide holder featuring a coordinate nonius on which two specimens can be placed and moved in parallel, allowing for simultaneous comparison of the specimens. The coaxial screws for moving the specimen holder are located next to the focus screw, which eases the workflow of examining the slides while providing intuitive operation.
The lighting system is set up according to the Köhler method, spreading the light equally for improving contrast. The Abbe 1.25 NA condenser with petal aperture and removable front lens is centred and height-adjustable. The condenser is marked on the side of the condenser with a scale matching the lens magnification and aperture opening.
A dimmable 3V LED downlight provides high quality viewing in transmitted light. The illumination is complemented by a detachable manifold and a field aperture, the diameter of which can be adjusted by rotating the ring frame.
