SIGETA 50 SERIES 17mm is a classic medium-power eyepiece that uses a 4-lens Plössl design. The 17mm focal length makes it an excellent choice for a wide range of astronomical observations - from panoramic views of planets and large lunar formations to detailed study of open star clusters. The moderate 50° field of view combined with a comfortable 13mm eye relief creates ideal conditions for extended observations.

The classic 4-element optical system combined with modern multi-layer coating on all surfaces ensures high light transmission and formation of sharp, high-contrast images. For additional comfort, the eyepiece is equipped with a fold-down rubber eyecup that effectively blocks stray light during observations.
