Contains 7 special surgical instruments, packed in a translucent plastic box with a snap fastening. Designed for preparing specimens for examination in the laboratory or making microscope slides at home. All preparation tools are made of stainless steel, well sharpened, inflexible, ergonomically shaped and have a smooth exterior surface.
The following objects are included in the kit.
Two anatomical forceps, one with curved rounded tips and the other with thin straight tips that meet at an acute angle. Both have ground serrations on their retention surfaces, reducing the risk of damage to materials during compression.
A pair of sharp articulated scissors, one straight, the other slightly curved across the plane. The curved ones are easier to make radial cuts, the straight ones are easier to separate dense materials.
Two-piece scalpel, consisting of a comfortable handle-holder and a sharp interchangeable blade.
Two dissecting needles: straight and with the tip bent at 30°. Designed for transferring freshly made slices onto the slide and spreading thin tissues on it.
