10x video microscope eyepiece supports the modern USB 3.0 data interface. Appropriate for laboratory and repair microscopes, however it can also be effectively used with teaching microscopes: the main conditions for the microscope configuration are achromat lenses, two speed focus and LED backlighting with adjustable brightness.

The M3CMOS 8500 digital USB camera offers a high resolution of 8.5Mpx: at the maximum resolution you can get an image size of 3328x2548. Thanks to the advantages of CMOS technology and the colour restoration system of Ultra-Fine Colour, photo and video images from the camera are characterised by natural shades and smooth transitions of colour zones.

A 2x2 ↦ 1x1 binarisation is acceptable for enhanced image quality in low-light conditions or when shooting with long shutter speeds. Images at half the linear size (1664 x 1272 px) feature less digital noise, but are still usable for Full-Screen viewing, plus the binning speed is increased from 10 to 56 FPS. The M3CMOS 8500 8.5Mp is connected to the microscope via an optical adapter, the gomal, which magnifies the microscope image by approximately ten times. The thread of the adapter is connected to the C-Mount camera mount and the opposing side is fixed on the microscope's eyepiece tube.

Beside adapters and accessories, the camera includes a CD with micro image capture and processing software. The M3CMOS 8500 comes with ToupView, powerful and reliable software with many useful functions, ranging from camera set-up to calibration and photo measurements.
