To the category: Digital cameras
SIGETA M3CMOS 32000 32.0 MP USB 3.0 is an ultra-high definition digital camera eyepiece for microscopes with the highest resolution in the entire Sigeta model range. It is suitable for high quality research in manufacturing, repair, metallurgical, or laboratory microscopy at a wide range of magnifications. The digital camera is compatible with any professional-grade optical microscope. It is installed in a separate optical port of the trinocular or in any of the eyepieces.
The main feature of the camera is the recording of high-definition video (2.8K) with a refresh rate of 30 frames per second (depending on the computer performance). For maximum resolution, the frequency will be reduced to 8.1 FPS. Research is recorded in common digital formats: AVI, JPEG, PNG and others. The high-speed USB interface version 3.0 is responsible for stable video transmission.
The heart of the camera is a SONY Exmor sensor with a resolution of 5600 x 5600 pixels, which supports 1x1, 2x2 and 4x4 pixel binarization technology (2800 x 2800 px and 1400 x 1400 px, respectively). The relatively high physical pixel size of 2.315 x 2.315 microns deserves special attention. The linear dimensions of the sensor are 12.96 x 12.96 mm.
SIGETA M3CMOS 32000 32.0 MP USB 3.0 digital camera will perfectly cope with the visualization of the finest microstructures and individual areas on the subject, capturing as many important details as possible. Comfortable research is possible on 4K monitors with a large diagonal. A resolution of 32 MP will also be enough to obtain high-quality images that will be used in printing (posters, information banners, etc.).
The high frame rate, combined with the resolution, offers great opportunities for diagnosing and analyzing various processes or phenomena at the micro level. The camera is suitable for studying moving objects, capturing fast-moving processes, and measuring time and speed more accurately. Photo/video capture and further image manipulation is performed using the ToupView software (included). It allows you not only to save and process frames, but also to change camera settings, calibrate, and make micrometer measurements.
Camera sensor is very demanding on the quality of the microscope illumination. The best results can be achieved when studying biological products using the light field method and when studying 3D samples in reflected light with the ability to adjust the angle of incidence. The camera will reach its full potential when paired with a professional microscope, demonstrating natural color reproduction, perfect image clarity and contrast.
For connecting SIGETA M3CMOS cameras with a C-Mount thread to the optical port of a microscope, a complete eyepiece is provided - a gomal with a magnification of about 10x. One side of the eyepiece is screwed into the camera thread, and the other side is simply installed into the eyepiece tube. If the diameter of the tube differs from the standard (23.2 mm), you can use one of the 30 or 30.5 mm adapters included in the package.
