The SIGETA HDC-14000 14.0MP HDMI is a multifunctional digital camera with two image output interfaces, a memory card slot and control elements on the housing. This model is able to transmit images from the microscope directly to a projector, TV or monitor via HDMI. This camera can also be connected to a computer via USB making it a universal image transfer, photo and video capture device.
The housing of the camera is made of aluminum and has a cube shape. The top of the camera has a control panel with power and data connectors. At the bottom there is an aperture where, beneath an infrared filter, there is a 14 megapixel Panasonic sensor capable of producing images up to 4320x3240 format.
The main particularity of this camera is the output of interface HDMI. The HDC-14000 is easy to install and ready to use, unlike USB cameras which need to be connected to a PC with special software installed, SIGETA HDC-14000 does not require any third-party devices. It is connected to the output device visualistically and is set up via keys on the housing. The images and video footage are stored on a memory card (not included). In this mode, the maximum image format for real-time playback is 1280x720 pixels. Video can be recorded at FULL HD : 1920 x 1080 at 30fps. The maximum photo size is 4320×3240 pixels. The camera can be connected to a special HDMI display which is fixed in the slot provided for this purpose on the housing.
Another connection option for this camera is the USB interface. In this case, the camera is connected to a computer with special software installed (software disk included). The camera is configured in this mode using the tools of the application.
