The Sigeta CAM MC-35 (driverless) - an electronic ocular microscope camera designed for digital storage of examination data. Using the camera eyepiece, the image captured by the microscope is displayed in real time on a laptop or PC monitor.
Due to its standard barrel diameter, the Sigeta CAM MC-35 digital eyepiece is suitable for all modern biological microscopes. The 0.35 megapixel sensor resolution means that the camera is not at all demanding when it comes to microscope optics. Even when using this camera with a relatively low-cost teaching microscope, you can still capture photos and videos of remarkable quality - sharp, sufficiently detailed and clear.
The CAM MC-35 is connected to a computer via a USB 2.0 interface and no additional power supply is required for its function. Due to its small resolution, it captures up to 30 fps without slowing down other USB devices.
Physical size of the matrix (mm) is 3.54 x 2.69; the distance between the pixel centres is 5.6 µm vertically and horizontally. The high pixel size indicates the camera's ability to produce full colour pictures with great depth of focus. The software allows the adjustment of the actual colour balance (e.g. when working with weakly coloured samples). The Sigeta CAM MC-35 is compatible with various image acquisition software such as AMCap, MiniSee etc. These applications let you modify camera settings, save and edit photos and videos.
Even a child can operate the CAM MC-35 microscope camera without any special skills. The Sigeta CAM MC-35 digital eyepiece is an affordable but fully functional tool and a useful accessory for any children's microscope.
