The SIGETA dry dark-field condenser - an essential accessory for microscopic dark-field studies. It is suitable for microscopes with a small aperture - 0.85 NA; the largest possible magnification for such lenses - 60x.
The dark-field method is a suitable alternative to phase-contrast microscopy - it helps in cases where brightfield microscopy is not feasible, e.g. when studying aqueous microorganisms or other slightly coloured specimens.
This condenser model does not require immersion liquids. However, the SIGETA Dark Field Condenser (Dry) provides optimum contrast and sharpness to the edge of field of view. In the condenser's optical system, spherical and chromatic aberrations are balanced out.

WARNING! For working with a dark-field condenser, it is worth choosing only high-quality object and cover glasses of medium thickness.
