The Sigeta Imperial 8x42 is a high-end binocular with high image quality. Its small size and sufficiently high aperture make this binoculars a universal tool for all kinds of observation.

The body of the binoculars is made from polycarbonate and has a protective rubberized armor. The construction with an open bridge on the double hinge joint (OH - Open Hinge) has created a device that is both robust and easy to use. Roof optics used in this model is compact in size and more sophisticated technologically in production. Internally, the binoculars are filled with argon for waterproof and temperature resistance.

The optical block forming the basis of the binoculars is made of barium crown (BAK4 glass) with phase coating and silver coating. This enables impeccable colour reproduction across the entire range of the visible spectrum. Each optical surface is lightened with several layers of special coating (Fully Multi Coating optics). The lens ends are blackened for high-contrast images. The anti-reflective notch inside the binocular tubes prevents stray flare. The eyepiece lenses with increased diameter (24mm) improve the image quality.

Due to its balanced weight the Sigeta Imperial 8x42 rests comfortably in the hand. The 30 mm focusing wheel has a ribbed surface texture and a smooth running action. The turn-pull eyecups with three fixed positions allow comfortable viewing with or without spectacles. Users with different vision strengths can adjust their binoculars dioptres using the textured ring on the right eye piece with two lugs for easy adjustment. With twin lens covers on the binoculars and separate on the body attached lens caps, the binoculars have been carefully designed to provide outstanding protection for the binoculars. It is supplied with a sturdy textile case which can be worn on a belt or shoulder.
