The Sigeta Imperial 8x34 binoculars feature an excellent combination of size, weight and aperture ratio. Remaining in the segment of compact binoculars, this instrument enraptures with its brightness and image detailing.
Available in three colours:
Binoculars are equipped with a strong polycarbonate housing with a protective rubber armouring. The binoculars tubes are connected by two hinges (Open Hinge - OH), which makes it both robust and user-friendly. The housing is hermetically sealed inside and filled with argon. The housing is water-resistant and impervious to rapid temperature fluctuations.
The optics of the binoculars use a Roof-type construction, which is based on high-quality BAK4 prisms. All lenses are coated with several layers of FMC (Fully Multi Coating) to minimise light loss and maximise brightness and contrast. In a bid of image quality, the binoculars manufacturer has also blackened the lens ends and added anti-reflective notches inside the tubes to prevent light reflection inside the binoculars. The eyepieces are fitted with large-diameter lenses (22mm).
The ergonomics of the binoculars are well thought out, with a ribbed wheel for smooth, easy focusing. The turn-pull, three-position eye-cups provide comfortable eye relief for observing with or without spectacles. Dioptre adjustment for spectacle wearers of different vision strengths is realised by a ribbed textured ring on the right eyepiece. Hinged lens covers fixed on the body and eyepiece covers are fitted with fixings for the strap provided. The kit also includes a robust case that can be worn on a belt or shoulder.
The Sigeta Imperial 8x34 is the perfect selection for travel and tourism because its small and lightweight binoculars impress with their image quality.
