The kit contains everything you need to prepare for entry-level microscopy. The preparation tools (spatula, tweezers, pipette) are made of plastic, so they are not dangerous for primary school children. Be careful with the consumables - coverslips and slides - though the edges of the glass are ground to a matte finish, they will become sharp again if chipped.

It should be noted that the main value of the set is not even the instruments, not cones or mini-loupes, but five professionally made slides to start your research immediately. The specimen slides are enclosed in a tight plastic box with a clamp and each slide is mounted in a separate slot, reducing the chance of glass damage from accidental bumps or knocks. The transparencies are chosen so that the child can form an idea of the structure of plant and animal tissues. Alongside each specimen is a sticker with a description in English.
